Mental Health Awareness Week 2020

#BreakTheStigma // 5–10 Oct 2020 // 100% Virtual

The goal of the Mental Health Awareness Week (MHAW) is to raise awareness and help prevent mental health problems in the work environment: What are the indicators of mental health problems? What tools are there to address any problems? What can I do to prevent them? or to help others?

This is the first time that the DIGS-BB participates in the organization of the MHAW, which this year is held jointly with the Max Planck Society’s Mental Health Collective in cooperation with the Friedrich Schiller University Jena, as well as the MPI-CBG and the Dresden Concept in Dresden. We have prepared a very compact and informative program with talks ranging from the effect of sleep deprivation, nutrition and sport to mental health in a research environment, work-life balance, or prevention strategies and coping mechanisms among others.

Participation in MHAW 2020 is very easy, simply click on the links provided to attend the online presentations (see below).

There is something for everyone!
