Carlo Cannistraci appointed TUD Young Investigator

On the 25th of October 2016, Dr. Carlo Cannistraci received his certificate of appointment as TUD Young Investigator. He is the eighteenth researcher to be awarded this special TU Dresden title.

Dr. Cannistraci studied Bioengineering in Milan (Italy). He gained his PhD at the Scuola Interpolitecnica di Dottorato (SIPD) in the area of Computational Systems and Network Biology.
Following postings at the University of California in San Diego (USA) and at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (Saudi Arabia), he has been leading the Junior Research Group Biomedical Cybernetics at the Biotechnology Center (BIOTEC) of TU Dresden since February 2014.
