Training
Training at the DIGS-BB is research-oriented. PhD students are affiliated to a research group in which most of the thesis work is carried out, with the group leader being the primary supervisor of the PhD student. Expert supervision throughout the research activities leading towards a doctoral degree within 3-4 years is one key feature of the DIGS-BB. Read more.....
In addition to the laboratory-based experimental thesis work, PhD students participate in a structured training program, which includes practical courses, workshops, lectures, seminars, and journal clubs. The curriculum of training is composed of mandatory and elective modules, and there are program-specific and central training activities. Read more......
