Opera, theatre and cabaret

There are numerous theatres in Dresden - from the Classical Theatre to smaller theatres and cabarets. They offer a broad spectrum of plays and in summer you can enjoy the outdoor theater at the St. Pauli Ruine or on stages in the Zwinger (Zwinger courtyard open air, June - Sept) or Dresdner Schloss. There are occasionally some English plays in one of the smaller theatres, e.g. Theaterhaus Rudi, Fechnerstrasse 2a.
